Do You Want To Build A Snowman?
Do You Want To Build A Snowman?

Do You Want To Build A Snowman? - On December 3rd, the Bookworms had a snowman themed story time that began with the reading of the story "The Best Snowman" by Margaret Nash. The story follows a little boy who impresses all of his neighbors so much with the snowman that he builds that they all want him to build them a snowman. Each person has a different request for how they want their snowman built. In the end, the last person that asked him to build the snowman has the best snowman design. After the story, the Bookworms each made a big paper snowman of their own. The Bookworms then danced to the 'Chicken Dance,' and Story Time ended with the Hokey Pokey. You can join the Bookworms for Story Time on Wednesday mornings at 10 at the Gibson County Memorial Library. Children participating in Story Time are (front row) Harlan, Kitana, Kimberly, Emmett, Carter (back row) Jovi, Zack, Parker, Tyler, Addy, Kole and Grayson.

Magan's Wish is now accepting donations

We are accepting gifts on behalf of Magan's Wish. The gift drive is the legacy of a wonderful young lady, Magan Porter. Her desire was to brighten the holidays for the needy children of Gibson County. Just bring a wrapped toy or article of clothing (with gender and age on the tag) to Pinecrest Golf Course (any day except Monday). We will distribute these gifts to families in the local area. Cash donations will also be accepted. Help us honor Magan's Wish by donating anything you can.
