RUN, TURKEY, RUN
RUN, TURKEY, RUN

RUN, TURKEY, RUN - On November 19th, the Bookworms had a special turkey themed Story Time to celebrate Thanksgiving. The Bookworms started off Story Time with the book "Run, Turkey, Run!" by Diane Mayr. The story follows a turkey as he tries to escape from being the main dish of the Thanksgiving meal. The turkey tries to look like different animals on the farm, but the farmer keeps finding him. Finally in the end, the turkey manages to escape. After the story, the Bookworms used red, orange, and brown leaves to make the feathers for their paper turkey. The Bookworms then danced to the Chicken Dance, and Story Time ended with the Hokey Pokey. You can join the Bookworms for Story Time on Wednesday mornings at 10 at the Gibson County Memorial Library. Those in attendance were (left to right) Myla, Ava, James, Emree, Parker, Harlan, Addy, Daniel, Emily,Zack, Tyler and Jovi (not pictured) Emmett.
